Research proposal
For my research proposal I considered doing teenage sexual behaviour, but after some more thought I decided to do Gender Roles. This was decided after I spoke to Ms’ Mcinnes on Friday, week five.
When I talked to her, we found out that my first topic was very difficult for me and for others because whoever I’m going to interview, she/he would get embarrassed to answer my questions, and then i thought about changing the topic to Gander Roles. I think this time everything is going to be perfect because i feel happier to do Gender Roles as my topic.
When i thought about changing topics to other topics, it was kind of hard for me to think about other articles that might be good and more interesting. Lucky me, it didn't take me a lot of time to think much about it because i spoke to Ms Mcinnes and she helped me with it. She sorted it out and now my topic is Gender Roles and I’m quite sure that I’m not going to change a topic anymore. In my topic I’m going to research about both genders male/female, especial male because i want to know much about the responsibility of male in his family. I also want to know how different are cultures, i mean like, compare males in Australia to other males in other countries.
To get enough information about my topic i considered about undertaking a research on internet about it, and the other way that i can get information is reading books. Ms’ Mcinnes has helped me to find some books about gender roles in the Library and sometimes i spend a time reading them. Those books have helped me a lot and i think that if i continue reading them i will get more information about my topic. Also i can get information by reading newspapers or online survey.
I had written up some questions about gender roles and now I’m looking forward to interview. Therefore I am thinking about interview someone around this school or out of this school. At different times i thought about interview the African teacher who helps African students at this school or my soccer team.
I also think that if i continue to research the information about this article, I might find good ones to use in my topic, however I might learn something new that I never know before. I may also learn more things about how males take a care of their families. For example how to help their family with house works or what they have to do to keep their families in happiness.
